Tasmanian Devil
When devils feed on their prey, they consume the entire animal- flesh, fur, bones and all. As a top predator in the Australian environment, it helps maintain small animal populations and assists in disposing of carcasses. By consuming their prey and half rotten meat in its entirely, they act like natural vacuum cleaners, keeping the bush healthy and reducing maggots.
Flying foxes
Commonly known as bats or fruit bats.
They play an important role in dispensing seeds and pollinating flowering plants. It is estimated that a single flying fox can dispense up to 60,000 seeds in ne night.
And we were done in an hour, thanks to my son super speed.
After Lone Pine Sanctuary, we head back and take a short nap before we carry on.

Brisbane- Day 1

Arrived Coolagatta airport at 8am.
Pick up Optus sim card at the newspaper kiosk.
Pick up our car at Apex Car Rental.
Documents and processing was easy.
And 1hr10m drive to Brisbane, our accommodation at Sheriff St.
This is our first time staying in a Queenslander.
Main entrance is on the upper level.
Our room is on the lower level.
Simple room for our short 2 days.
Quite a steep road from our accommodation to the amenities and city centre.
A good 20-30mins walk to the city. Our host say locals walk a lot.
