Day 2 Kamakura

Free one class for hostel guest. Subsequent will be $10 per class.
Japanese yoga is slightly different form what we have in SG. End of the class, the instructor will go round to massage the participants shoulder n neck with essential oil, very comfortable n relax experience.

Took train back to Kamakura and bought a Kamakura-Enoshima Pass (700yen day pass)

Komachi Dori Street

Caraway, this is probably the longest queue in this street.
Tucked in one of the small alley.
I took me about 25mins in a queue of 13 people in front of me.

After lunch, walked 15mins to Zeniarai Benzaiten Shrine.     

ZENIARAI BENZAITEN SHRINE (錢洗弁財天)

This is the temple that pray for increase of wealth by washing monies.

Another 25mins walk to Kotoku-In Great Buddha.
 Entry: 300yen

After Great Buddha, walked down to Hase Station and take train to Enoshima.
From Enoshima station, walk about 15mins to cross the island.

There is ticket counter to take the escalator to the top of the hill.
It only took about 15-20mins walk to the top, easy with stairs.

Enoshima garden

After Enoshima, go back to Hase station and step in Shimaji.
Shirasu (white baits) is the signature in this region.
Total cost: 1010yen



There are Family mart, 7-11 and Lawson in jsut 5-7mins walk from my hostel.

Day 1 Kamakura

Business class from BKK to NRT

I really like their kaiseki meal and the day of whisky is Yamazaki.

The seating is just normal seat except wider. Not much privacy though.

Taking the Narita Express to Kamakura.
4000yen return ticket.

Plenty of seats and luggage space.
Need to remember the password for locking system, otherwise can only seek help till the end of the line.

Finally arrived Yuigahama around 8pm, this town is total quiet at this hour.
From train station to my hostel takes about 3-4mins walk.
Very cold n windy weather, feel the weather is cooler in this town.

Check-in to WEBASE KAMAKURA HOSTEL.

Very nice accomodation, quiet and professional. Facilities is much better than some hotels.

4 bed female dorm, the toilet is just outside the room sharing with another 4 bed dorm.

This is the only restaurant that close at 8.30pm.
