3rd day in KL

Very attentive staff but very high price tag too.
After haircut, proceed to Equestrian Park to pick up JJ.

Day Trip to Ipoh

8.30am: From our hotel, walk 5-7mins to KL KTM via long overhead bridge.
Waiting for my ETS, departing at 0904hr.
RM35 for gold ticket (one way)
Reached Ipoh in 2h15mins.

10mins walk from trains tation and reached the old town.

The popular egg custard not appealing to me...but i do like the chee cheong fun.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I find the tea is better in Nam Heong.
After makan, take a stroll to the Street Art in Jalan Masjid (about 10mins).

Nice beancurd, smooth and a very small bowl.
We can get a lot similar one in SG too.

Famous for their Kaya Puff.
Long Q, I Q for 30mins to get mine. Decent
Ming Court Tim Sum
It is already closed when i reach there.
The Popular Foh San Tim Sum
Walked another 25mins to the new town.
Took a taxi to cave temple.
RM40 p/hr, there are no taxi waiting in this area, so advise to book a taxi to travel to and fro.
Kek Look Tong Temple
Still another 45mins to my train arrival and grab a quick cold beer before my departure.

The coloured rice is nice.
Satay is lousy, too tough to bite.
IIaoIIao is much nicer.
There have a women only cabin in their KTM.

Very bad, try at your own risk.

KL Trip with JJ

We start our journey 7.30am. 1st stop at Restoran Gim Cheng.

This is MUST try! Crispy carrot and tender inside.
Toilet break at one of the highway stop.
Daily Fresh, one of my favourite waffles.
Check-in hotel around 3pm.
Good location, basic room, not so friendly staffs.

Worth to check it out when near the area.
The special minced paste is very tasty to go with the soup.

Lian Bee Hokkien Mee
Jalan Cheng Lock, one of the alley.
Hokkien mee seems usual but the pork slices soup is amazing.
Not usual to get JJ to come to such place to eat:)
