Dubai (Day 11/12)

Reached Dubai airport early morning 1230am.

$1SGD= 2.7 dirham (AED)

Winter is still quite cooling in Dubai, around 20+ degree

Excelsior Creek

Nice hotel room, very comfortable bed and pillows.

But many taxi driver not familiar with this hotel and don't expect much from the breakfast.

Wake up 9.30am and head to Dubai after our breakfast.

Dubai Mall open till 12mn everyday.

Burj Khalifa

Social House

This is must try cafe in Dubai Mall.

Social House is a a causal upscale restaurant (originally from Jakarta, Indonesia) featuring sushi, breakfast, soups, salads, and mains which are divided into East or West. The restaurant has a wide open wall-less space facing the inside of the Dubai Mall, as well as a Dubai Fountain facing section.

Caesar salad- 45AED

Young romaine lettuce individually dressed, filled with turkey bacon, egg, croutons and parmesan cheese.

Poppardelle- 55AED

Tossed with rich mushrooms, wagyu beef and exotic spice served on a bed of parmesan cheese.

The pasta tastes exactly like lasagne, very niceeeeee!

Both are marvellous, still think of it now...:)

Dubai- Night (Day 12)

3pm gather at hotel and proceed for our Safari Tour.

This cost us $100US.

The four wheel drive drove through the dunes and scares GG off:)

I still prefer the one in Perth, probably the dunes is higher and nicer.

The show and dinner ends around 8.30pm and we head back to Dubai Mall again.

More than 2000+ shops, it will takes us some time to explore:)

Burj Khalifa

Nothing is cheap here, more expensive than Singapore. We finally choose to watch 2 movies straight starting from 10.30pm.

Movie ticket 30AED per pax.

Even the food court here is not cheap, a burger/ sandwich can cost average 35AED.
