After breakfast, we headed directly to Narita airport. We still managed to do some last minute shopping in the airport. I also bought 2 packs of Royce chocolate which were selling at only SGD 7 compared to SGD 12.80 in Singapore.
The 7 hours flight back in NH111 was not too bad. I watched a Japanese movie and napped for 2 hours. After we reached Changi Airport, we spent some time to buy alcohol and the tour leader was very nice to load our entire luggage onto trolleys for us. We went with 3 luggages and came back with 10, including 3 carton boxes.
That’s the end of the journey. Thanks to our Japanese tour guide, William Ma, who brought us to many extra places that were not in the itinerary, especially to the shopping malls, and for talking non stop throughout the whole 7 days, imparting his knowledge and experiences to us and making this trip not bored at all. This package was from SA tours, but it does not mean this guide, will be guiding all the tours. If you are lucky to have him, remember to bug him to bring you to all these places!
The food and accommodations were not fantastic, but if I had the chance, I would really love to shop in Hokkaido again during the summer. Surprisingly, I was told several times that Hokkaido is a better shopping paradise than Tokyo.
