We start off from Woodland Centre 6am in the morning.
Reached Mersing jetty around 8.20am. Since our departure is 10.30am, we took our breakfast in R&R Plaza.
Destination: Juara Beach
The only village on the eastern side of Tioman Island, Juara arguably has the best ebach onTioman and the only sunrise over the open water of the South China Sea. Tranquil and beautiful.
Accomodation: Juara Mutiara Beach Resort
The only resort with sea front view and was operated by a Malay family. If prefer Chinese operator, you may try Juara Beach Resort. Location will be at the end of the beach.
It took us 3hrs boast ride to reach Juara Beach, Juara Mutiara sent their private ferry to fetch us. 10 of us, Nani, Jasmine Choong, Sani, Helmi, June, Joe Leow, Steve, Serene Goh, Darren Chan and me.
The package including 5 meals, day trip to snorkelling, accomodation cost $330RM each. We upgrade our BBQ dinner, addtional crabs, prawns, lamp chops cost each of us addtional $15RM.
During night time, the sky is full of twinkle twinkle stars and the guys are arguing which is the northern stars.
Took some pic using raw image, during dawn and when drizzling. Rooster crows every morning and evening. No internet, no TV in the rooms, no newspaper, is a world of it's own.
1st day, the guys booked a fishing boat out for night fishing for $400RM, that's was really a small pathetic boat. It is dangerous to fish in the night, it is total darkness.
We have so much fun on the 2nd day trip to snorkelling, our package was only entitled to 2 spots, the boatman was nice and bring us to 5 spots (maybe because the guys treat the boatman some beers).
This was the best snorkelling i ever been, we saw lots huge and different corals, black tip shark, sting rays, turtle (1m long), squids, scissor fish, parrot fish etc.... After our day trip, we back to beach for our volleyball & soccer game:)
