In the night of December 24, 1951, 16 political prisoners creeped through the underground sewer door by the death sentence yard and escaped. 5 of them succeeded in joining the resistance base to continue the struggle.

You won't get fresh orange juice even when the menu written "FRESH orange juice".
Nice meal, one of the best i ate during the whole trip.
Every street in Old Quarter is different, each street selling different items.
For example, clothing goes to Hang Dao, Toys goes to Luong Van Can, Oil painting goes to Dinh Liet etc...

Had bought 2 oil painting for $22-25USD, you may bring your photos for them to paint. Probably one of the best thing to buy here.
