Morning breakfast in CityInn (Taichung)
Few varieties but sufficient for us.
Bus stop outside out hotel.
We were advised to take bus to the shopping district. But after looking at the timing decided not to.
The bus interval about 1-1hr20min. There is no MRT here in Taichung and CityInn is abit way out of everywhere except the train station.
It is a good idea to take bus in Taichung if time is sufficient, the first 8km is free. Just need to scan the easycard and it will not charge if wandering within the 8km.
First thing today, go to buy the famous Suncake in Taichung in 自由路。
There are at least 10 suncake shops along this road.
Taichung Train Station
This is the popular and consider one of the most expensive suncake we seen in Taichung.
Many tourist is brought here by their tour guide.
Most popular: Pineapple tart, cheesecake, ice-cream.
Dawn Cake Shop Facade
Long Q for their ice cream.
All items are packed exquisitely.
After bought our Suncake in 阿明师, we walked back to out hotel to leave our bags before proceed to the shopping district.
Walking along the nearby streets, we joined the Q for 葱油饼。
Nice!
Fluffy yet cripsy pancake with half cooked egg.
A Japanese outlet opposite 勤美.
$150NT for a bowl of Ramen.
GG bought for herself for her birthday.
After wandering aroung the town, nothing much and we went back to hotel pick up passport and back to the shopping mall to buy the watch before proceed to Yizhong.
Remember to bring passport along to shop if you going to claim back the tax rebate.
Yi Zhong NM (一中街)
Don't miss out this street, quite big and it opens in the noon.
This waffle really hard
That's our dinner.
$170NT for both.
Much more value than in Singapore
This one does not taste as nice as the one we had in JIJI, probably they don't have the spinning machine.
Yi Zhong 2nd street (一中二街)
After Yi Zhong we head to Feng Jia again for our stomach fix.
