Bologna

Bologna is the largest city of Emilia-Romagna Region in Northern Italy.
Home to the oldest university in the world, University of Bologna, founded in 1088.
Bologna hosts thousands of students who enrich the social and cultural life of the city.
It is also one of the wealthiest city in Italy, often ranking as one of the top cities in terms of quality of life in the country: in 2011 it ranked 1st out of 107 Italian cities.

97.2m high with a drop of 2.23m and inner stairs of 498 steps completed in 1684.

47m with steeper drop of 3.22m.
 
GG wanted to climb but unfortunately it was closed temporary for restoration.

Seat of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Crafts.

After few hours of walk, we took a rest at the café in Piazza Maggiore.
Weather is terribly hot, approximately 39 degree.
 We see a long Q in this gelato and we also give it a try:)

Basic hotel with only 7mins walking distance to Piazza Maggiore.

30mins walk from our hotel, by the time we reached, my back already start to ache again:(
 
85eur per person (1700-2000hrs)
We are very lucky to have only 2 of us in the class and we made pasta from scratch!
Our coach let us hands on everything and share with us some cooking tips.

Table was set up nicely for us with compliment of red wine.
One of the nicest meal we had in Italy.
Money well spent! I would like to come back if I have the chance. Recipe here under label pasta.

 After our lesson, we went back to hotel and rest early.
 
Next day, we found this café at Via Orefici.
Most reasonable one we got in our entire trip.
