Trip to Kansai/ Hokuriku

Taking Malaysia airline ($452). Transfer at KL
My flight delay 2 hrs till only manage to fly at 2am. Reached kansai airport at 9am and my initial plan need to reorganise.
Once reach airport, quickly go to internet area to buy a so-net sim card from dispenser. 1gb for 30 days cost 3000yen. Then proceed to level 2, JR ticketing office to exchange the passes and buy a icoca & haruka pass (4,060 yen).
Takayama & Hokuriku pass 10,500yen
Kansai Wide pass 7,200yen
Bought in JTB ION.
 One way Haruka pass
  ICOCA card
The package includes a 1500yen credit and 500yen refundable.

 Smoking room inside the carriage
Although the Hokuriku pass covers from Osaka to Takayama via Kanazawa but i took 1016hr to kyoto then transfer to Nozomi 224 (5070yen) to Nagoya and transfer to Takayama. This route allows me to reach 2hr earlier and able to see nice scenery along the route.
Reached Takayama exactly at 1509hrs. Tourist information is just outside the train station. Go to JTB at the building next to tourist information, bought a "Okuhida Marugoto Value Kippu" (5150yen) for next day, remember to check weather of Shin Hotaka with them. This pass includes unlimited buses, to Shin Hotaka, Hirayu onsen, 2 way pass of ropeway to 2nd station and a free access to Aldo Onsen. Valid for 2 days.
Once step up the trains station, everyone took out their umbrella to shield the heavy snow.
Check in K House (4800yen per night for single room)
 300yen for laundry facilities
 Stroll around the historical district
Early dinner at Suzuya.
Good service, decent food but price on the high side.
Hida Beef with Hoba Miso on Magnolia leaf.
The server very attentive and send me a heater.
Due to the heavy snow, the bus do not travel to Hida Folk vilalge today so I took a taxi to Hida Folks Village and realized the village is closed and make a turn back cost 2,020yen.
As most shop close at 5pm, and I walked to this 300yen izakaya, jsut 3mins away from my hostel.
Total bill: 1280yen including tax.
Nice decent yakitori.
After the supper, I walked to the convenient store near trains station, bought some drinks and back to hostel n rest early.
