Madrid

MADRID

Full day in Madrid.

BANCO DE ESPANA
CENTRO CENTRO, PLAZA DE CIBELES
PUERTA DE ALCALA
PARQUE DE EL RETIRO
You can enjoy peaceful walk here provided you have nothing to do. This is located away from the city centre and need to walk quite a bit.
I cannot find any water in all the fountains here...
MONUMENTO ALFONSO XII

MUSEO DE PRADO
SAN JERONIMO EL REAL
MERCADO SAN ANTON MARTIN

TABERNA MAS AL SUR
Calle Santa Isabel N35
Found this bar near to Mercado San Anton Martin, very nice food and cocktail. I went twice in this trip, both are very good. They serve half portion, half the price in the price list. Very reasonable and a MUST visit!
Sitting at outside will impose additional 10%.

SANGRIA (3eur)
Best Sangri I had in this trip!
It consists of red wine, peach liquor, apple liquor, lime, soda and topped with cinnamon powder!
GRILLED SQUID WITH SALAD (4.90eur)
This is real good! Must try!
COD CONFIT WITH GOAT CHEESE AND HONEY (5.25eur)

MARGARITA (7eur)
Don't understand why it cost so much for this cocktail.
 RISOTTO DE BOLETUS (4.90eur)
Porcini risotto with crispy ham
 MUSAKA (3eur)
OPERA STATION
TEATRO REAL

LLAOLLAO
The difference between llaollao is SG and Spain is the Q.
In Spain they even bring out samples for people to try. In SG, every outlet is long Q.
with cookie dough sauce
CATHEDRAL DE LA ALMUDENA
PALACIO REAL
JARDINES DE SABATINI
TEMPLE DE DEBOD Entry: Free
An Egyptian Temple that was built in 2nd century BC and was donated to Spain and rebuilt in one of the Spain most beautiful park, West Park.
SALAMACA DISTRICT
The most expensive neighbourhood, with upmarket boutiques, fine dining restaurants, foreign embassies and 5 stars hotels.
MERCADO DE LA PAZ, SALAMACA

MERCADO SAN ILDEFONSO, CHUECA
Another mercado in Calle Fuencarral.
SOL
The street is still very crowded and happening in the late night.
