Zurich

This trip got a promotion air ticket from Swiss air for $1040.
Total cost for Portugal and Spain: $3200 including air and accommodation.

4-21 October 2015
Breakfast in Swiss Air.
The macaroni chicken pretty nice.
I have a transit of near 6hrs in Zurich airport. When reached airport at 6am, I quickly sneaked out to take a train to the city. Train ticket 13.20CHF inclusive all public transport in Zurich (can use credit card).
Take train to Hauptbahnhof (HB) - Main station, takes 11mins (2-3 stops).

Remember to check return train timing in the main station. The train schedule booklet given to me in the ticket office is inaccurate. I missed 2 trains before returning to airport and 3rd train is 30mins gap. There are a lot platforms in this station, allocate more time to locate the right platform.
Start walking towards Zahringerstrasse then connect back to Niederdorfstrasse.

Fraumunster
Grossmunster is just opposite and St Peter church just next to it. Most attraction is walkable, one round will takes you approximately 2hrs.
Public WC

From Rennweg (old town), walk up to Lindenhof, where there is nice view across the river Limmat.
Very easy to walk around, clean and expensive city. A tall frappuccino in starbuck cost over 6CHF.

Zurich HB station
When return, just look for train towards Flughafen (airport).
This is the first time I saw a double decker train!
Beware not to get into the first class section, you will be charged whether you sit or stand in the section.

Once reached airport, just need to scan boarding pass to enter the custom. This is very surprisingly! Never expect the security is so lax. the whole process from station to boarding gate took less than 15mins.
