Kawaguchi- Tokyo (Day 5)

I woke up and first thing I saw was snow. My plans need to be cancelled. Most attraction closed, local bus not operating... And that is also first time snow for Tokyo in November for the last 54 years.

Outside my hostel
The staff is busying ploughing the snow.
Borrow an umbrella from hostel and head to Bell Shopping Center. Probably the only activities available...
Bell Shopping Center

Oyakodon 390yen
Very nice, should have try their udon and tempura
Bought a glove from Daiso 100yen, doesn't work at all. In fact, wearing the glove is colder than not wearing.
Kagelow Hostel
When the snow stop, I start to walk to Kawaguchi Lake for a quick view.
Supposing walking time is only 15mins but after 18mins, I realised we were lost. All signboards are covered with snow and not visible. Managed to reach the lake in another 15mins.

Since there is nothing I can do int he area, I went to train station and quickly change my ticket to early time 1540hrs. Did not realised that walking in snow is longer than normal time, ask for hte hostel to call a taxi to bring me back to train station since the road is impossile to pull a luggage. 5mins ride cost 750yen.

Ride from Kawaguchi station to Shinjuku 1750yen, takes around 2hr.
Took metro to Kanda and trasnferred to Ginza line (Asakusa).
Kanda
Looks like very interesting place, many cafe and restaurants.
 Enaka Asakusa Central Hostel
3240p/night
Very comfy simmon mattress, only 2 bathrooms.
Pretty good location with metro and train station around, not a good location to airport. There is no elevator to the station, at lease 6-8 flights of stair will make you crazy.

Towels provided, can change everyday but pick up at the counter only.
There is no locker, luggage tied up to a lock attached to the wall.
This is very functional with a mini folding table, locker and shelving.
Toilet is new but there is a foul smell probably lack of ventilation

 Roof terrace probably for smokers
There have 4 dispenser, including one food dispenser.
Love their green tea latte here
Wash and dry 500yen for 130mins.
Wash 6kg 300yen 40mins
Dry 3kg 100yen 30mins

Shoes cabinet for everyone before heading up to the dorm.
This is another of my favourite this trip!
I tried it in Kyoto and fell in love.
