Czech Republic: Prague

Day 4

Today relax and go out late.
Check out at 930am, slowly took metro to Muzeum and walk to good tour kiosk.

Passage to Old Town Square

Prague Astronomical Clock
It will play every hour and everyone is waiting for it to start.

Unable to find the group and just go ahead to Prague Castle.

About 20 mins walk to the castle from old town square. When walking up n remember me and gg walk this path before 4 years ago. On the way up, realised my bag being pickpocket. All the monies drop half way out my organiser.  All 4 zippers all opened n luckily nothing was stolen.

Prague Castle
After castle, took tram 18 to Vysehrad. This is where Prague started, the oldest part of Prague.

U SEMIKA

Frankfurk soup 32czk
Chicken steak with mushroom ragout, cranberries and potatoes croquettes 125czk
Beer (0.3l) 30czk

Very bad meal...... Don't understand how can they cook it so badly.
Fortress Vysehrad
Basilica of St Peter and St Paul

The wind is so strong today, cannot even stand properly.
Walked down the fortress towards the sea n took tram 17 to Staromestska. Stroll around the old town and new town.

Wenceslas Square

Dropped by Starbucks bought a hazelnut hot chocolate. GG n me previously visit the same Starbucks n ordered hot chocolate too:)

Trdelnik is very popular in Prague, there are alot vendors selling in old town. Some with ice cream and fillings. I had the original one @ 55czk.
Is really hard to find a bench or seat in prague...

Till around 8pm, took tram 6 back to Stepanska n to hostel. Relax, rest and wait to go Florenc bus station.

Palladium Shopping Mall
Back to hostel and start planning for Poland trips.
Praha Florenc Bus Station
Our bus got into accident and it was delayed till 2.15am!
After 12am, we will need to wait outside the bus station as the station will be closed till 5.30am. We were all freezing cold, people are walking up and down without knowing when the bus is arriving. Some even went back to take shawl/ jacket.

Polski overnight bus (56pln)
