Today wake up early n took the 8.13am train to Garmisch- Partenkirchen. Bought this Garmischer Ski ticket (only in winter) which includes the train and access to Zugspitz.
Bought this at the train station but not as good as the one in Nuremberg train station. Nuremberg seems like having more better bakeries.
1h10m train and walked down to the tunnel and transfer at zugspitzbahn.
Exchange the ticket to a pass and a booklet form the ticketing counter.
Zugspitzbahn
About 15m ride and make another transfer at Gainau, from there around 50mins direct to mid part of Zugspitz.
I tried to walk to the lookout platform, left 3 steps and I slipped down, unable to stand up again after a few attempts. Stumbled and crawl to the platform, so embrassing.....
After taking some photos and unable to make down, walk half way n nearly slipped again ... Lucky got a man helped me up and bring me to the ground.
Had lunch while waiting for the next cable car.
Currywurst (9.50eur)
Then from there another cable car to the summit.
MUST remember check the timing of the cable car. I did not check and waited 1hr for it.
Initial plan is to walk around Garmisch Partenkirchen but today is Sunday and realised most shops are not opened...
From Cogwheel train change to Zugspitzbahn.
When arrived Madrid, bought a day ticket (6.60eur) head to Schloss Nenymphenburg. Took tram 17 there, around 15m ride.
Beautiful palace, highly recommended by my room mate. There are at least 20 swans and duck in the pond!
Next, walked 10m to bus stop, took bus 143 to Georg- Brauchle Ring station. The award metro station.
Dinner time!
Went back to Munich HBF and took tram 18/19 to Holzapfelstrabe (3 stops).

Last day in Madrid
Next day, 7.30am went to Rewe City supermarket for juices and smoothies. Then to Lidl buy bockwurst for JJ and GG. Back to hostel and packed up my luggage and left in the luggage storage in hostel.
To round up the supermarket I had been in Germany. Aldi, Lidl is the cheapest. Kadstadt and Galleria gourmet is higher end. Rewe city is medium range.
There is carnival along the streets in city center. Alot push cart, 2 stages and loud music, great atmosphere! 10+am already full of people on the street.
Viktualienmarkt
Alot of them not opening, not interesting at all. Supermarket is much better..
3.50eur
Bought caramelized cashew nut again. This stall not as good and 5eur per 100g, the previous stall is 4.50eur per 100g and taste better.
Back to hostel at around 12pm, bought a pizza and pick up the luggage to proceed the train to Prague that depart at 1244hr.
I have 2 luggage now......
