Poland: Gdansk - Sopot

4 March 2017

Took 810am Polski bus (16pln) from Poznan, reached around 1315hr at Gdansk bus station. Book an uber to Lux Apartmenty, as usual fare @ 10pln (base fare). Taking uber in Poland is much affordable than in taxi.
Reached the apartment around 130pm, just a 5-6m ride. Very nice studio facing the river, just a bit noisy downstair as restaurant is right below.

Lux Apartamenty (268pln for 2 nights)
This unit on the 3rd floor, luckily didn't get the 4th floor!
The host cannot speak english and a bit problem communicating. Very nice apartment but a bit too cold without heater since they are using floor heating, set at 20degree. Lucky I request her to bring up a portable heater for me.

View from my unit.
ALTANA SMAKOW
After check in, went to a popular homemade ice cream shop highly recommended by my host. Tired their hazelnut ice cream and apple pie. Very average for ice cream and soft n mushy Apple pie.
Hazelnut ice cream (8pln) and Apple Pie (10pln)
Very nice architecture, the nicest I seen in Poland. One of the bigger old town and u will be surprised if u open the door of the shop. The door is always closed n seem not operating, but after you open the door, inside can be quite packed.

Seafood is very rare in this part of the world. Romania, Poland have very few seafood, mainly frozen fish.
