Bangkok 2018- Day 2

Free breakfast provided by hostel.
Convent Road, one of the street along Silom.
There are plenty of street food here, morning till late night. Stalls will be different for morning and evening.
From hostel walk to my favourite padthai only 8mins.
Padthai Saladang
This is just behind Silom Complex, walk from the back door and enter a small street.
Padthai Mix (Shrimp + Squid+ Dried Shrimps) 50thb
The dried shrimp is so big and delicious. 
I tried to find in yaowarat and it is not cheap, more expensive than in Singapore.
One of my favourite Thai milk tea in BKK, Sala daeng BTS.

Next, took BTS to Saphan Taksin.

There are too many ice, just 2 mouthful and is finished.

From Saphan Taksin BTS, walk 5mins to this boat temple.
Wat Yannawa


Walked another 7mins to Saphan Pier.
Took Orange ferry (Chaoya express boat) to Wat Arun (20thb)

From Wat Arun, go to pier 4 and take the ferry cross the river to Tha Chang Pier (4thb).

Have been here many times, mainly for their massage. The best in BKK!

Waiting list is very long, waiting period is 1-1.5hrs. So take a queue and go out have a lunch and come back for the massage.
All the therapist are very good, well trained. Every touch are exact at the right spot.
Back to this cafe, just outside Wat Pho.There are plenty of cafe in this vicinity.
Need to wait for awhile as there are limited seats inside.
Had a cashew chicken rice, prawn cake and Singha beer.
Previously is very good, but the portion for prawn cake had reduced significantly.

Walked to another part of old bangkok, and saw this canal resemble the Amsterdam. 
Giant Swing
Passed by Thipsamai and bought my favourite Orange juice.
It is now 160thb for big ones. The small ones are often sold out.
*Reminder, not to buy from thipsamai anymore, HAd diarrhea a couple of times after drinking. And it is not the first time I have this reaction.*
From Thipsamai, walked 10mins to Phanfa bridge to take long tailed boat to City.
In BKK it is the ebst to use ferry or boat to access between City and Old bangkok. This area is often jam.

Boat to Hua Chang (9thb), alight here if going to Siam. Next stop will be pratunam.
From Hua Chang, walked around 10mins to Siam Square.
Found this again, previously at the back alley and now moved to Siam square Soi 2.

Kway Teow Neu 50thb
After dinner, walked 12mins to Erawan Shrine.
Get 4 dancers (360thb) to dance for Erawan.

Heading back to hostel, today use this Thaniya Road and realised this is Japanese street where alot call girls are sitting along the steet proaching men for service. Some of them speak Japanese. There are alot Japanese restaurant here too.

This is located next street to my hostel, Patpong I.
24hr supermarket.
Went to 7-11, wanted to buy some beers but they stop selling after 12mn.
Bought this CP food pig trotters to try out in hostel.
The sauce is not bad but the cuts of the pork is terrible,
