Spain Day 14- Santiago de Compostela

26 Oct 2019

Took ALSA supra (44.49eur) to Santiago de Compostela.
The leather seat is slightly wider and the centre part is slightly separated.
4h30m ride.

Cannot find any bus to the old town so walk 20-23mins to my accomodation.
The weather is good and walk is easy, down hill walk.

The walk all the way down hill is easy.

Check-in to Santiago KM-0 (44.49eur for 2 nights)
Location of hostel is very near to the cathedral, almost the end of old town.

There are only small storage locker and everyone throwing their bags on the floor n table, very messy. No curtains so basically no privacy.

After settled down, I washed my clothings first before head out.
Washer (3eur), Dryer (2eur)

The bathroom is very tiny even for Asian size, need to squeeze to one side before the bi-fold door could open. And the bathroom door was frequently open and guys always walked pass, so overall design of this hostel not really good.

While waiting for the clothes, I head down to nearby supermarket to buy some water.
These melindres is quite nice, v crunchy. Good to pack some on the road.

Santiago de Compostela Cathedral

Santiago is also the finishing point of camino.
Colegio Fonseca

There are pretty good and plenty of choices for dining here.
I stepped in one and they simply ignore me for 20mins although I tried to talk to her, she just continue chatting with her staffs/ customers.

Finally chosen this cafe, Petiscos do Cardeal.
And that's a good choice and a lucky I turned away from the other one.
Total bill: 22.65eur
White wine (2.30eur)
Pulpo A Feira (12.50eur) Paprika octopus
Vieira (6.50eur) Scallops
Anchovy cheese pintxo (1.35eur)
