Taiwan Day 1- Cingjing

1-11-2012
5.20am reached Taoyuan Airport.
First thing, breakfast @ 7-11.

Nice beef rice for $65NT.
Upper bowl- beef gravy
Lower bowl- rice

This is the only Telcom open at 7am.
Better go at 6.55am to avoid queue if rushing for time.

Airport shuttle service to HSR.
$30NT per trip
Every 10-15min, 5-10mins (peak hour)
Book in advance to enjoy early bird discount.
 Reached Taichung HSR @ 8.35am and rushed to NTbus station for 8.45am bus.
Unfortunately, the bus is already full.
So we shared a cab with a man to Cingjing for $450NT each.
 
Reached Cingjing in an hour instead of 2 hours by bus.
While waiting for our minsu host, we go to the 7-11 again.

Weekday at $160NT each.
Get a stamp at the entrance and GG showed off her nails.

Nice cooling weather...
No show on weekdays
Not so cold after the sun come out.
 Some food stalls outside the grassland.
Didnt eat anything here, there is quite abit of Yunan cuisine.

 Only guest of the hotel are allow to go in to the hotel.
Which effect nicer?
After our high tea, our host come to fetch us at Old English.
We are at the highest peak in Cingjing.
Above sea level: 2106ft
Our small little hut, away from the main building.
Clean room, with heated mattress and thick blanket.
Hairdryer and toiletries included.
$1980NT per night including breakfast and dinner.
6pm and we are early.
It gets dark around 5pm in the evening.
Nice! especially in such cooling weather.
Additional order only at $100NT per plate.

Nice accomodation. Remember to book early.
It is full when we aere there even during weekday. Thanks to my Nikon, able to take such photo in the dark. Iphone totally cannot see anything.
