Sorrento

Train took about 3hrs from Florence to reached Napoli Centrale.
We bought the Campania 7 days Artcard Tutta la regione for 34eur at the tourist information counter. That includes all transportation in Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast (ferry excluded) and 5 Entrance free for attractions, 6th sites onwards for 50% discount (including Pompeii, Museo Archeologico Nationale di Napoli, Castel Nvouo, Ercolano, Pasteum etc...)
 

Then we need to change to a Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento.
 Basement to Stazione Garibaldi for the regional train.

SORRENTO
We will staying here for 4 nights as a base to nearby town/ city/ islands.
 
Finally reached after 1.5hrs train ride.
It is not a comfortable ride especially in Summer.
No aircon and stuffy inside the train, worst when you need to stand all the way to your destination.

Worst B&B I ever stayed. Avoid if possible.
Irresponsible and unreliable host.

We asked the direction from a patrol police, was told only a 5mins walk to Marina Grande.
Eventually took us near 20mins to reach....

Lemon cake.
Kind of weird, we don't see much dessert here in Italy except Tiramisu and Strawberry crème.

This is the way to go down to sea port, a few storey staircase.
Alternatively, can Queue up for the lift with a fee of 1eur (each time). 
Lift is so rare here that they can even charge it for each use.

Moderate fit is advisable. Plenty of up and down slope.
Local specialty, Limoncello
Made with local lemons and alcohol.
 
Lemon here is big, those I saw in grocery stores is approx. 15cm.
Rough skin, juicy, lesser seeds, not so sour.
 It is one of the richest lemons in ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).
40% of the production are meant for fresh consumption, 60% for limoncello.

Ristorante Taverna dell'800
We dine here 3 times, server always with a friendly smile.
 We are less adventurous now after trying so many below average restaurants.
 
I like the veal cutlet and grilled prawns most:)

Sacro e Profano
A modern Italian fusion restaurant. Average food and higher price tag.
I still prefer the Taverna dell'800.
