Volterra

Volterra is a hill town with limited public transport. We took a bus from Siena (30mins ride, 3.40eur) to Colle di Val d'Elsa and transfer another bus (50mins ride) to Volterra. Colle Val d'Elsa Bus station Bus timing from Colle to Volterra: 0700, 0945, 1445, 1830hrs (exclude Sunday) Bus timing from Volterra to Colle: 0655, 0800, 1315, 1720hrs (exclude Sunday)

This place is not as hot as other town in Summer. Where Twilight, New Moon filmed part of it here. Beautiful small town, one of our favorite.  Piazza Martiri della Libertà. Bus station
