Germany: Munich- Dachau

Check-out hostel and took the 1002hr train to Munich. Journey 1h2m.

This is incredible pastry, tops with cinammon, nuts and coated with icing sugar. around 2eur. 

Had rasberry on the train...

Left luggage in my hostel n immediately head to Dachau Concentration Camp. My hostel is only 3mins across the train station.

Took train to Dachau station (Munich and Nuremberg transportation is fully covered in the Bayern ticket), then bus 726 to the camp. The bus is right outside the train station.

Entry is free and 3eur for a English guided tour. English tour start at 1pm.

So coincident, the gate was previously stolen and was returned just one week before I visit. However, the original gate will displayed in the museum instead.

Back to munch around 4pm, rushed to Lederwaren (Tal 35) to buy Rimowa luggage and they do not have the color I want and refer me to the other outlet. Quickly rushed over, bought it and check-in hostel.

Bought a Rimowa 26" Salsa (without electronic tag) 386eur, pay cash additional 10% off. So paying 347.40eur cash. Additional tax refund of 36eur. So total: 311.40eur. The retail price is 429eur in Germany. Singapore is selling around $1100.

Wombats Munich Hostel (65eur for 3 nights)

The bar is pretty packed and rowdy at night. There are no shared kitchen in this hostel. Private bathroom is not a good idea. A room mate had occupied the bathroom for near 2hrs and there were no other shared bathroom available.

After checking in and walk 5mins to the old town. Explore the city center and 8pm all shops had closed. 

Happily bought a packet back, 1eur each. 




This is very good!!! 5eur per packet. Roasted cinammon cashew nuts.

Supposingly wanted to go Augustinerbräu and the staff in my hostel lead me to Augustiner Braustuben!!! 
Went to lousy restaurant and ate a super lousy schnitzel pork and met a worst server that end my day...

Jagerschnitzel (pork cutlet with wild mushroom sauce) 9.50eur

The bar in my hostel start busy and playing very loud music. Don't like the atmosphere, too rowdy.

Got a mini glass of beer complimentary from the hostel.
