Day 4 Kawasaki/ Tokyo

1-12-2019

Check out from hostel and bought some breakfast from lawson.
The beef pau is very good too, fluffy dough and tasty fillings.

This cream puff thumbs up too!

Took the train to Kawasaki, left my baggage in the locker (700yen) and realise Anata no warehouse had closed down just one week ago....

From the main station, took train to Kawasaki Dashi.
Matsuya, our favourite fast food in Japan.
Premium Gyumeshi with Spicy Sauce (490yen), miso soup change to Tonjiru (190yen).
After lunch, walked to Kawasaki Daishi Temple.
Cemetery inside the temple compound.

This time stayed in Asakusa again.
Mustard Asakusa Hostel I
9233 for 4 nights (female dorm)

Noisy place, poor management. Ground floor can only be use when restaurant is closed. Smell very oily in the restaurant space. Bathroom only on level 2 with lift access. The whole building only one lift and always busy.

My favourite Taiyaki near Orange Street.
Tennen Taiyaki

 Red bean Taiyaki (194yen)

Sensoji Temple

Sharuku Taiyaki

Red bean Taiyaki (190yen)

Previous trip here saw this place always long queue, this time joined in the q and waited around 1h10mins from 6pm. The weather is very cold and everyone in the queue hopping while queuing hahaaa.

Asakusa Gyukatsu

Gyukatsu set (1500yen)

After dinner, walk opposite to the Culture Tourist Information.
Took the lift to roof top and have a nice view of Sky Tree.

Supper time!
Ichiran Asakusa, just 5mins walk form hostel.
This is the first time I saw open concept Ichiran, walk all the way in and saw the signature private cubicle.
