Poland: Warsaw

Reached warsaw around 1610hr. 

Took train to warsaw centralna, transfer tram 17/33 to our apartment at chlodna 15.

After leaving our luggage in the apartment, we headed to Zloty Tarassy for dinner. 

Had fried fish from northern fish and some kebab from the food court.

I had the kebab, dry and hard, cannot even finish half of it and give up.

Thereafter, headed back to apartment n rest early.

Breakfast at La Masion, located just at our apartment downstair. Breakfast set at 14-16pln.

 My pancake come with scrambled eggs.

 They have very nice range of cakes and sweet pastry. Had bought some other nights but don't taste as good as expected. Probably we have really good cakes and pastry here.

There is delay in jj flight n he finally reached the apartment around 1230hr.

We walked to Hala Mirowska to get some currency. Changing rate from EUR @ 4.27. We saw alot others offering 4.28. Zloty Tarassy has the worst rate at 4.18.

We took uber to Sigimund column for the free walking tour, Jewish's quarter.

The old town looks quiet and boring during the winter.

The entire tour last about 1h40m. Our last destination at Polin Museum. 

From here took an uber to Arkadia shopping mall.

Had our late lunch at Macdonald.

Walked around the mall for around 1hr and decided to proceed for dinner.

 After dinner, we went to La Masion n buy some dessert. We bought 2 and given one free!

Early morning, went to ispot with JJ to repair his MacBook.

First time saw this Palace of Culture and Science.

We had a break at Green Caffee Nero, a very popular cafe in Warsaw, saw many outlets in the city. This cafe is more popular than Starbucks here.

The hot chocolate is thick kind, they do serve dilute kind in Warsaw, jsut remember to check with them in advance. Since the hot chocolate is not drinkable, JJ bought another croissant to go with the hot chocolate.

Took uber to Fashion House Outlet. Nothing interesting and we are done in 30mins.

Back home and brought one of JJ luggage to store at the host office nearby. Then have late lunch with Apple at Trattoria Toscano.

Pretty good lunch!

After lunch, jj and me proceed to Old town. Alot of shop did not opened and we are done with old town n new town in 30mins.

From there, we walked to Marszakowska. Took us around 25mins. And there we walked to Zloty Tarassy and explored there again.

Around 9pm, we took a tram back home and have late dinner with Apple at Bar Dla Wszystkich Kercelak. Very good cafe with good price. Definitely go back again!
